Widespread growth for SNCF in 2011

On Wednesday, SNCF published a positive balance sheet, with an increase in sales over the first nine months of the year and growth across the board.

The SNCF group saw its sales increase (+7.1%, including +5.2% on a like-for-like basis) over the first nine months of 2011. This is reflected in the figures published by the rail company on 19 October, which also emphasise that this positive trend applies to all the Group's divisions. At the end of September 2011, the Group's turnover stood at €24,191 million, an increase of €1,611 million compared to the same period in 2010. SNCF also points out that the SNCF Voyages (+8.7%) and SNCF Proximités (+6.1%) branches offset the decline in SNCF Geodis (-1.1%).
