
Airlines are taking advantage of the summer to prepare for the future of the travel experience. And while some are focusing their investments on forward classes - First and Business - others are focusing on their mid-market offering: the Premium class. This is the case of the LATAMThe new Premium Comfort was unveiled on Tuesday.
The investment mobilised by the South American group is no less major: more than 100 million dollars will be devoted to this new cabin. It will make its international debut in 2027.

Within this future Premium ComfortThe new seats will play a crucial role. The airline is promising more spacious seats, increased reclining, greater spacing between rows and reduced passenger density. LATAM also plans to improve its service, both in terms of culinary offerings and the entertainment catalogue (IFE). The latter will be based on 16-inch 4K screens, with Bluetooth connectivity, fast-charging USB-C ports and individual sockets.
The new Premium Comfort cabin will initially be available on long-haul routes operated by Boeing 787, from 2027 of course. It remains to be seen which business destinations will be the first to benefit from this new product.
