Europcar expands its self-service offer in Nice

After Lyon Saint Exupéry airport, Europcar is launching its Car Choice service at Nice airport. Business travellers can now collect their vehicle directly, without having to go to a branch. Other airports should see the service arrive in 2012.

Almost a year after the arrival of the Car Choice service at Lyon airport, Europcar has decided to take the service to a new level in Nice. Since December, travellers arriving at Nice airport have been able to use a pre-selected vehicle without having to go to a Europcar branch. The only conditions are that they present their driving licence at the car park exit and have "Ready" status, i.e. hold a Europcar loyalty card or have made an e-Ready reservation online. After Lyon and Nice, other French airports are on Europcar's agenda for the development of the Car Choice service over the course of 2012. According to Europcar, 2,500 customers already used the service at Lyon airport in 2011.
