It's a strategic route for both business travellers and holidaymakers: easyJet will once again strengthen its presence between France and Morocco. And as a sign that the corporate market is targeted by the low-cost carrier, the new flights will operate year-round.

Since 3 May, easyJet ensure two flights a week to Marrakech departing from Lille, every Wednesday and Sunday. In parallel, the flight StrasbourgMarrakech also started on Sunday. It is scheduled every Thursday and Sunday. In both cases, the flight duration is 3 hours and 30 minutes.

easyJet's ambitions in Morocco were already clearly stated last year, with the announcement of the airline's first base in Africa, still in Marrakech.

It should also be noted that the potential of Lille Airport with regard to Morocco has not escaped another airline. Royal Air Maroc also announced last December its arrival in the North of France. RAM plans to connect Lille to Casablanca from this summer.
