Spark by Hilton arrives in Milan

The Hilton group is preparing to launch its premium economy brand in Italy with a first hotel expected this year at Milan Linate Airport.

Appearing last year in France, in Lyon, the Spark by Hilton brand will make its debut in Italy very soon. This brand, positioned in the upper economic segment, is indeed approaching Milan Linate airport where it will be established by the end of the year, 500m from the terminal. This is a convenient location for business travellers, especially as the city centre can be reached in about twelve minutes with the new M4 metro line.

Yes, for its expansion in France, the "premium economy" brand was able to rely on a franchise agreement with the Lyon-based Arteloge Hôtels group, while in Italy it is with the real estate company ELE Spa that Hilton has concluded this project. A partner close to the American group, the Rebecchini family having already entrusted it with the management of the Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn hotels at Rome Fiumicino airport and the Hilton Rome Eur La Lama business hotel, adjacent to the La Nuvola conference centre, among others.

As the American group has 130 hotels open or in preparation in Italy, the Spark by Hilton Milan Linate Airport will offer 118 rooms with a workspace, communal areas to relax and work in a comfortable setting, a breakfast buffet, and a 24-hour self-service food and drink offering. The hotel will also feature an outdoor pool and a gym, as well as three meeting spaces.
