On Wednesday, the Great Hotels of the World network made official the membership of the group's five Brussels-based establishments, stating that they had been "chosen for their exceptional facilities for business customers and MICE" (Meeting Incentive Congress Event). Among them is the Thon Hotel Brussels Airport, close to the airport and major transport links. Located 15 minutes from the city centre, the hotel has around 100 rooms and two meeting rooms for up to 80 guests. The Bristol Stephanie, the Brussels City Centre, the Thon Hotel EU, and the Stanhope Hotel are the other newcomers to the Great Hotel of the World network.
