Spotnana: a direct integration with Marriott

Technology solutions provider Spotnana is connecting its platform directly to Marriott's reservation system, offering access to negotiated rates and the loyalty programme.

Marriott is strengthening its distribution to business travellers through a direct connection with the corporate booking platform Spotnana. This cloud-based «Travel-as-a-Service» infrastructure provider now benefits from integration with Marriott's central reservation system.

This enables its users – travel agencies as well as business travellers with access to this solution – to have real-time access to room availability and various rates, notably negotiated corporate rates. Furthermore, they benefit from detailed content on the group's 10,000 hotels worldwide, featuring photos and information on rooms and amenities identical to those on Marriott's channels.

However, this partnership also makes Spotnana the first corporate platform to offer a verified link with the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty programme. Travellers can thus connect their Bonvoy account to their Spotnana profile to have their status recognised, view their points balance or benefit from perks offered to holders of Marriott Bonvoy-affiliated credit cards. Furthermore, travellers can also modify or cancel a booking on the platform without the assistance of a travel agent. At the same time, agents will be able to manage requests more easily via Spotnana's integrated desktop.

" This innovation helps companies better support their travellers and manage their expenses, and reinforces Marriott's leadership in the next generation of distribution », said Shannon Patterson, Chief Commercial Performance Officer at Marriott International. A view confirmed by Hillary Dallas, Global Travel and Events Lead at Amazon, for whom Spotnana's direct integration with Marriott «" raise the bar for corporate travel programmes ". «Thanks to clear visibility on negotiated rates, loyalty benefits and self-service tools, travellers can manage their trip more easily, wherever they are in their journey », she describes.

Extended relations

As the former founder of Concur prior to launching Spotnana, its CEO, Steve Singh, expressed the utmost enthusiasm «about expanding our relationship with Marriott and offering our partners and clients the benefits of direct integration.» Indeed, this technology provider and the hotel group were not collaborating for the first time, as the Business Access by Marriott Bonvoy program, dedicated to SMEs, is white-labelled and built upon Spotnana's booking and management solutions.

Yes, with this integration the relations are even closer between the two groups, and this development recalls the ties that Spotnana has been able to develop with airlines around NDC (New Distribution Capability) distribution, among others Air France-KLM, the Lufthansa group or, more recently, Singapore Airlines. But this type of direct connection in the hotel world is not entirely a first. Last spring, Spotnana announced the integration of the offering of British chains Premier Inn and Travelodge, facilitating access for agencies and travellers to these budget hotels, as well as that of Booking from December 2025.
