According to the results of a survey of MICE (Meetings, Incentive, Conventions, Events) organisers carried out by the British website Venue Reservations, and reported by C&IT News magazine, two-thirds of them are anticipating an increase in the number of events, but a reduction in the number of guests. Another finding of the study, already highlighted by other surveys, is that professionals are preparing to avoid London as much as possible during the Summer Olympic Games. 65% of them are planning decentralised events to avoid the collateral damage - price increases, transport saturation - potentially caused by the Games and the influx of foreign visitors.
