Sabre signs with TravelSky for business travel in China

GDS Sabre has just signed an agreement with its Chinese counterpart TravelSky, which should enable it to facilitate business travel in one of the world's major markets.

The signing of the agreement between Sabre and TravelSky should open up new opportunities for the American GDS. Despite the considerable trade between China and Western economies, reservations in the Middle Kingdom are still subject to a number of administrative and linguistic barriers. The partnership signed with TravelSky adds some 30,000 Chinese establishments to Sabre's portfolio: an enhanced offering that should help to boost business travel in China, as well as making it easier to attract Chinese professionals to the European market.
