Paris: slight fall in hotel rates according to Trivago

The trivago Hotel Price Index (tHPI) published on 12 October shows a moderate fall in rates (-2%) in Paris hotels for the month of October.

September was a particularly expensive month for the Paris hotel industry. October will be a month of stabilisation. That's according to the Trivago barometer published on Friday, which even shows a slight fall in average rates in Paris. A night's stay in the capital will cost 213 euros this month, making it the third most expensive destination in Europe after Geneva and Venice. London's average rate is 206 euros, while Athens continues to fall (-18%).
