Following the disruption that affected part of the SNCF network on Tuesday, traffic is gradually resuming on Wednesday 13 March. However, almost a thousand passengers had to be accommodated by the SNCF last night.

Since this morning, business travellers have had access to a rail network that is in the process of being decongested: SNCF announced on Wednesday that "traffic is gradually returning to normal this morning on the network, particularly on the Nord Europe high-speed line where, since 7am, TGVs and then Eurostars and Thalys have resumed their services. Paris is once again linked to the main regional capitals, notably Amiens, Rouen and Caen. In the Ile-de-France region, the transport plan is in line with forecasts (2 trains out of 3 on average)".
