SNCF experiments with Relay Point baggage services

Since 25 June, the SNCF has been trialling a new luggage delivery solution in partnership with Mondial Relay. Business travellers can now drop off their suitcase at one of the 4,300 drop-off points, then collect it from a local shop at their destination.

The new "Luggage in a Relay Point" service piloted by the SNCF since 25 June is based on the vast Mondial Relay network. Business travellers can drop off their luggage before departure at one of the 4,300 local shops listed by Mondial Relay, and collect it on arrival at a pre-identified collection point. The service, which is available online and by telephone, costs 20 euros per item of luggage. Delivery takes four working days.
