Business travellers to and from Brussels Midi station will soon be welcomed in a newly refurbished lounge. They will have to be patient, however, as the lounge will be temporarily closed from 2 August until the beginning of October. Cross-Channel passengers will then be able to take advantage of increased capacity, improved Wi-Fi connectivity and better lighting. "The renovation of the Eurostar business lounge in Brussels is part of our ambitious programme to transform and embellish our station areas," explains Mikaël Lemarchand, Director of Eurostar Stations. "We want to offer our customers journeys beyond our usual routes, to new destinations in Europe. More capacity and a better travel experience in stations are sine qua non conditions to meet these future challenges. We are very much looking forward to the reopening of the show in October, to welcoming our customers back and offering them the best of Eurostar! We're doing everything we can to make it a great surprise for them," concludes Mikaël Lemarchand. During the closure of the business lounge, Eurostar is inviting Business Premier travellers and Carte Blanche loyalty card holders to go to the information desk in the departure hall of the Eurostar terminal at Brussels-Midi to pick up vouchers for drinks at the Coffee Club café, wifi connection codes and a selection of magazines and newspapers.
