A few days after making official the use of its new Paris slots for the launch ofa link between Orly and Hamburg, easyJet has announced that it has been awarded traffic rights by the French Civil Aviation Authority (Direction Générale de l'Aviation Civile) to serve Tel Aviv from Paris-Charles de Gaulle. This decision follows a one-month consultation period, and will result in the launch of three weekly flights from 30 March. These routes will be operated every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, and are "part of easyJet's ongoing strategy to become the second largest airline in Israel", according to the press release published on Tuesday.
