Until now, the SNCF has not been very active in the group sector, but it has recently rolled out a new offer designed to appeal to this clientele, whether they are travelling for leisure or for business purposes, such as a company seminar. A new tab has been added to the Voyages-sncf.com website, allowing users to book 10 to 30 tickets online for 200 TGV, TER and Intercités destinations, with the option of travelling further in advance than traditional tickets. Quotations are just a few clicks away, and customers have 15 days in which to confirm their booking, with guaranteed fares during that period. They can also pay by credit card, with no limit on the amount.
What's more, the search engine allows you to consult the price offer over seven days to find the best fare. To stand out from other modes of transport, the SNCF has also revised its range of fares, promising reductions of up to 65 %, even at the last minute. To meet the organiser's expectations, the railway company has also ensured that all passengers will be grouped together in the same carriage. In the event of a change, tickets can be cancelled conditionally up to seven days before the journey.
