First A330-200 sets course for Iberia

Iberia has just taken delivery of its very first Airbus A330-200. A total of thirteen aircraft will be added to the Spanish airline's fleet over the next three years.

The new Airbus A330-200, which Iberia took delivery of at the end of December, stands out not only for its fuel efficiency and take-off power, but also - and business travellers will appreciate this - for its accelerated Wi-Fi connectivity at 30,000 feet. In all, the Spanish carrier has ordered 29 new aircraft to strengthen and rejuvenate its long-haul fleet, including thirteen A330-200s and sixteen A350-900s.
