Two years after its launch, BizMeeting has just announced that it has raised €1 million in funding. The booking platform dedicated to seminars and business meetings intends to "accelerate the roll-out of solutions for different market players: occasional organisers, companies and professionals (agencies & booking centres)"according to a press release issued on 21 June. Aurinvest and Caap Création (Crédit Agricole Alpes Provence) are investing in the Aix-en-Provence-based start-up, with the support of BPI France.

The booking platform has already handled some twelve million euros in business volume since it was founded in spring 2014 by Loïc Passemard & Guillaume Lombaert. The start-up intends to continue its expansion in the meetings and seminars sector. BizMeeting is already planning to launch a new version of its platform in September, after launching a new marketplace targeting seminar and business meeting organisers at the end of 2015. The stated aim is to "create the reference tool of tomorrow".
