Unless they take public transport, travellers to Orly will soon find a new hotel to welcome them when they arrive at the airport from the A106 and RN7. AccorHotels has joined forces with the ADP Group to build an ibis Styles at the entrance to the Orlytech business park. Its ultra-modern façade, designed by the architectural firm Arte & Charpentier, will house 200 rooms, bringing AccorHotels' accommodation capacity in the Paris-Orly airport area to 1,089 rooms.
Expected to open in 2019, this opening will be complemented by the renovation of its future neighbour, the Mercure hotel, which will feature 189 brand-new rooms, as well as a new glazed restaurant area opening onto a large outdoor terrace.
This new hotel complex will contribute to the development of this tertiary district located to the north-west of the airport hub. "This dual operation will enable us to invest in the budget and mid-range hotel segments, to HQE standards, on a strategic region (...) promising to become one of the key business centres of Greater Paris"explains John Ozinga, CEO of AccorInvest.
From ADP's point of view, these openings are part of the transformation of the hub with the ongoing linking of the current South and West terminals, and will enable us to offer travellers a very contemporary range of accommodation.
