
Aparthotels Adagio has increased its number of openings in 2019. Palaiseau Saclay in January 2019, Montpellier Centre the following month, both in the economy access range, then Lille Centre Grand Place and Paris Nation in the second half of the year for its Adagio brand: the long-stay brand jointly owned by Accor and Pierre&Vacances, has extended its footprint in France. But more than just France, where it already has a large network, the brand is above all pursuing its strategy of internationalisation. Adagio now has 112 aparthotels, or almost 13,000 flats in 13 countries, but intends to double its portfolio by 2023 to 220 establishments worldwide. Last year, the European leader in medium and long-term stays discovered two new countries - Morocco, in Casablanca, for its first entry into North Africa and Saudi Arabia, in Jeddah - while strengthening its presence in Germany. A fifth establishment in the country was inaugurated in Bremen, opposite the main railway station.
The current year will see this momentum continue and even accelerate, with twelve openings expected, including in Brussels, London and Leicester in the UK, Freiburg im Breisgau in Germany), as well as Dubai and Goiania in Brazil.
