
The fruits of the partnership between Accor and the American group sbe, of which the French hotelier is a 50 % shareholder in %are beginning to materialise. Whilelast January, the arrival of the Mondrian brand in Europe was announcedin Bordeaux and Cannes, this lifestyle brand has just opened its first hotel in Asia-Pacific, in Seoul. Located in one of the city's most dynamic districts, the Mondrian Seoul Itaewon is the fifth store in the world for the innovative design brand, and joins those already open in Los Angeles and New York, Miami South Beach and Doha.

In addition to its 296 rooms, the hotel offers a wide range of trendy places to relax These include the Cleo restaurant, with its mix of Mediterranean cuisine and Miami ambience, the Rumpus Room and Blind Spot, where you can enjoy an after-work drink to the sound of an in-house DJ, and the Privilège bar with its wide selection of wines and whiskies to enjoy on the rooftop. Another attraction is the outdoor swimming pool, complete with bar and large terrace overlooking the city. In terms of meetings, the Mondrian Seoul Itaewon has a 867 m2 ballroom with integrated LED screen and five meeting rooms.
This opening, as well as those expected in Cannes in 2021, with the reopening of the Grand Hotel on the Croisette, and a little later in Bordeaux, is fuelling the desire ofinternational expansion by Mondrian.
