Abidjan: address book for a business trip to the Plateau

For some months now, Abidjan and its Plateau have been working hard to keep business travellers coming back outside office hours: time to savour aloko and attiéké at a table in a maquis or a trendy address, and to extend the evening and then the night in a large business hotel or a more intimate address. After two years of closure for works, the return to the forefront of the hotel scene in Pullman was eagerly awaited by business travellers, but above all by the whole of Abidjan. The hotel's ambition goes far beyond mere hospitality: it intends to to become "the place to be" with artistic, gastronomic and event-based events to enliven its public spaces throughout the week, including weekends. The 'new' address on the Plateau - because almost everything has changed since the renovation, which cost over €30 million - now boasts 265 rooms, including 21 suites with the addition of eight vast 'Deluxe Lofts', and seven meeting rooms. This five-star hotel also boasts a spa and fitness centre. All with a view of Cocody Bay on one side, and of thelocal hotel icon, the Sofitel Ivoire. This gives the Pullman Abidjan a front row seat to the city's transformation.

Le Seen opened its doors in the business district in February 2017adding 142 rooms and seven suites to the Abidjan hotel offer. It also offers four meeting roomsThe restaurant also boasts a 130 m² terrace that is regularly used for corporate events.

The mid-range brand of African group Mangalis will soon be joined by the top-of-the-range brand Noomwith a 257 rooms expected in the first quarter of 2020. This address will feature an executive floor, a swimming pool and a convention centre of 800 m².

Radisson Blu Abidjan Airport

A great alternative for business travellers who want to stay close to the international airport, especially as it is not so far from Abidjan city centre and its business district. A safe bet on the Plateau for Franco-Italian specialities. In two decades, the Tavern has built up a solid reputation while retaining a family approach.
