Previously, Accor had also worked with MPPD on the entrance to the Fermai hotel in Split, in the MGallery collection. This brand of boutique hotels is also part of Accor's expansion in the Balkans, with a new hotel proposed in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. A historic city with a Roman past and UNESCO-listed heritage, and the cultural capital of Europe in 2019, the country's second-largest city is also a business destination focusing on trade fairs and exhibitions.
