Irish carrier Aer Lingus has unveiled its new AerClub frequent flyer programme.

Aer Lingus has just launched a new frequent flyer programme, called AerClub, to replace its former Gold Circle programme. Among the major changes, AerClub is now based on the Avios points system, shared by the carriers belonging to the IAG group, British Airways and Iberia. For every euro spent with Aer Lingus, excluding taxes, fees and charges, AerClub members earn three Avios points. This marks a change in philosophy, since the Irish national airline no longer rewards its loyal or occasional travellers on the basis of the distance travelled, but for the amount spent on each flight.

AerClub members can also earn Avios points on the ground or online, by shopping in one of our partner travel and entertainment outlets.

AerClub has four statuses.
AerClub has four statuses.

The AerClub programme has four loyalty levels: Green, awarded to each new member, Silver, Platinum and Concierge. Silver, Platinum and Concierge members earn 25%, 50% and 75% respectively in additional Avios points for each flight with Aer Lingus than Green members. Members with these higher statuses are naturally entitled to benefits both in-flight and on the ground, including access to airport lounges, priority boarding and free Wi-Fi on board.
