American Airlines already operates three lounges at Miami airport: two Admirals Club lounges and one Flagship lounge. The airline will convert the latter into an enlarged Admirals Club lounge, and add a new Flagship area. Business travellers will enjoy the VIP treatment typical of this upmarket offer, with a glass of champagne on arrival, locally inspired menus and à la carte meals.
American Airlines strengthens its business travel in Miami
" We are delighted to extend and enhance the premium experience offered to our Flagship guests and to offer a more spacious and soothing environment in our Admirals Club lounges. "says Heather Garboden, Director of Customer Experience at American Airlines. Our strong partnership with airport officials and local authorities has enabled us to identify solutions that will further enhance our customers' experience, and we look forward to working with them to develop this improved space. ".
" Building on more than three decades of investment in the Miami metropolitan area, this event marks another important milestone that solidifies Miami's position as a world-class destination and American's position as a local airline. "says Juan Carlos Liscano. American's Vice President of Operations at Miami International Airport continues: " Miami is our international gateway, welcoming more than 30 million customers every year, a figure that is constantly rising, with more than 400 daily flights to over 160 destinations. The lounge experience plays a key role in enhancing the travel experience, providing a haven of peace and comfort away from the hustle and bustle of the terminal. That's why we're so excited to offer our Miami customers, including those transiting through our hub, new and improved spaces to relax, work and play. ".
