ANA: Paris-Tokyo flights resume, but programme still limited

From 1 August, the Japanese airline will initially offer two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays. While the timetable will be the same as before - take-off from CDG at 8pm for an arrival at Tokyo Haneda at 2.45pm the following day on the outbound leg, departure from Tokyo Haneda at 11.45am and landing at CDG at 5.10pm on the return leg - the departure terminal will change to from CDG1 to CDG2. Operated by B7878-9 tri-class aircraft, these two routes will see their in-flight services adapted to the new health standards, as part of the ANA Care Promise programme.

The re-launch of the Paris service is not the only one, since the Japanese airline has also reopened routes from Tokyo Haneda to Taipei, Ho Chi Minh City and Washington. At the same time, the frequency of flights to Manila and New York has been increased, while the Tokyo Haneda-Frankfurt route has even been reopened. daily. Flights to London remain unchanged in number, with three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Despite this, the number of services offered by ANA remains limited, since 89 % of its flights will be suspended in August. Among the routes temporarily suspended are those from the Japanese capital to Munich, Düsseldorf, Brussels and Vienna in Europe and all flights to China, with the exception of one flight a week to Shanghai and another to Hong Kong, re-launched in August as a test. Future services to Stockholm, Milan, Istanbul and Moscow have been postponed until further notice.
