It's a must in the EUR district, because the place is vast, elegant and tailor-made for business travellers, with a vast all-you-can-eat buffet for lunch and dinner and a huge dining room, some of which can be made private. A lounge atmosphere, non-intrusive background music and international cuisine with Chinese, Japanese and Mediterranean accents. It's hard to find a quiet restaurant in the city centre that isn't overrun by groups of tourists or couples on a romantic trip to Rome. While many luxury palaces are very expensive to stay in, often reserved for the Russian or Saudi elite, their restaurants are more affordable and remain a safe bet for organising a business meal. This Garden of Eden is the restaurant of the magical Hotel de Russie, the city's most famous luxury hotel. It offers a discreet and elegant setting for a business lunch, with an affordable buffet lunch. A member of Relais & Châteaux, the Palazzio Manfredi faces the Colosseum from an unbeatable vantage point. This five-star hotel has a new restaurant on its roof terrace, Aroma, run by Michelin-starred chef Giuseppe Di Iorio. It's hard to get much closer to the monument, and it's hard not to be fascinated by the view as much as by your plate, an aesthetic and gustatory marvel.
