In just one month, the new advisory committee at the head of GBTA France has published its roadmap, setting the course for the coming months. The French version of the Global Business Travel Association intends to focus its work in particular on on the integration of the Meetings & Events sector into the company's travel policy, as demonstrated by the three main themes for discussion for the period 2013-2015: "Convergence 'Travel/Meetings': Purchasing and Supply"; "New technologies for purchasers and travellers"; and "Management of the travel/meetings programme: sustainability and evolution". The GBTA France also intends to "develop a travel/meetings think tank" with the aim of "anticipating and preparing for the rapid changes in the industry". In any case, this is one of the strategic priorities for the next two years, along with the traditional dialogue between buyers and suppliers, the standardisation of suppliers and buyers, and the sharing of French and foreign best practices, the added value of the international association.
