La Compagnie positions itself on the Nice-New York route

Boutique Airline is expanding its transatlantic offer and from May will be offering five weekly flights between Nice and New York.

Regular business travellers on the Paris-New York route will soon no longer be the only ones able to take advantage of La Compagnie's 100 % business concept. From 6 May, the French carrier will be offering a seasonal service between Paris and New York. between Nice-Côte d'Azur and Newark-Liberty airports. Until the end of October 2019, the French airline will offer up to five flights a week, operated by Boeing 757-200 . From Thursday to Monday, the flight from Nice will take off for New York at 6.15pm and at 1.50pm in the opposite direction. On the other days of the week, passengers will be able to travel from Nicie to New York via Paris-Orly, as part of the partnership between La Compagnie and easyJet through the Worldwide by easyJet programme.

Passengers on the ground in Nice and Newark will benefit from access to Business Class lounges and security features to make boarding easier. In flight, the aircraft will offer 74 seat-beds equipped with individual iPad Pros for their entertainment and power sockets. The menus served during the journey will be created by chef Christophe Langrée.

The launch of this Nice-New York flight was made possible by the arrival, at the end of April, of a third long-haul aircraft in the airline's fleet, the A321neo, which will enable the carrier to increase the number of flights between Nice and New York.enhancing its transatlantic offering. The only carrier to date to offer a Nice-New York route, Delta serves JFK airport on a daily basis.
