DOSSIER - Bangkok: resolutely high-tech
A sprawling city, Bangkok is asserting itself in height and width, prestige and power. New architectural icons are changing the skyline, while underground metro lines are being built.
The Sukhumvit district, the last bobo landmark, is blossoming with trendy boutiques, coworking spaces and an emblematic mall, the EMQuartier. So it's off to Ayutthaya, Thailand's ancient capital, for a plunge into greenery and the past.
