
Sabre and Etihad have just formalised a "revolutionary" agreement, in the words of the airline itself. The two players in the business travel sector have signed a 10-year contract worth around one billion dollars. The technology supplier will provide Etihad with software to manage its reservations, stocks and distribution on a global scale. The airline's CEO, James Hogan, already sees " the most significant change in management technology that Etihad Airways will undertake in a decade".
