The new mobile application unveiled by Europcar on 7 June focuses on simplicity. Travellers only need to complete three steps to book their vehicle from their iPhone or Android smartphones: define the time and place of hire, choose the vehicle, then pay immediately or at the branch. They can also access 'extras' from the app - such as reserving a GPS - and enter their personal details. Another practical advantage offered by this new mobile tool is augmented reality, which means that travellers can now use their mobile phone's camera to see the best route to the nearest branch.
