" What's happening with AI is nothing short of spectacular ". During the discussions following the presentation of his group's latest results, Christopher Nassetta, Hilton's CEO, saw a clear future for artificial intelligence: "Artificial intelligence is the key to our success. revolutionise the way customers interact with us ". While the American group has not unveiled any initiatives, unlike Accor, which is partnering OpenAI for a application of its ALL programme integrated with ChatGPT, or Marriott and Wyndham who have announced the introduction of natural language search on their sites in the coming months, Hilton has just done it. With the launch on thehilton.com site of a travel planner powered by generative AI: the Hilton AI Planner.

Initially accessible to a limited number of users, before being gradually extended to a wider audience as it evolves, this chatbot will be able to delve into the group's global portfolio to help travellers put together their holidays in a more intuitive way, based around questions such as those given as examples by the group: "what are the closest ski resorts to Hilton hotels?" or "where to stay during the cherry blossom season". If using the Hilton IA Planner has more of a leisure connotation, business travellers can swap "ski resorts" for "convention centres" or "where to find an affordable hotel during fashion week" to find the establishment that meets their needs.

"says Michael Leidinger, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Hilton. What's more, the Hilton AI Planner will be enriched by feedback from customers and their behaviour, so that lessons can be learned for continuous improvement.
