Hampton by Hilton Grayston Sandton (4e quarter)

Especially for business travellers, with its international conference centre, the city's largest MICE venue with its eight rooms, the largest of which, measuring 740 m², can accommodate up to 650 participants. But this 200-room hotel will also offer moments of relaxation with its two swimming pools and spa, three restaurants and two tennis courts, all just a stone's throw from the beach. Its other highlight: a leisure complex with cinema, casino and a nightclub-bar: the SO Lounge.
Ivory Coast
Adagio Abidjan Marcory (during 2024)
The Adagio long-stay brand will discover a new territory this year, sub-Saharan Africa, with a first aparthotel in Côte d'Ivoire. The Adagio Original Abidjan Marcory, with 100 studios and flats, is part of a complex that will house another Accor Group brand with a 200-room Novotel.
Ethiopia
Pullman Addis Ababa (during 2024)
Later this year, the Accor group's business brand will be offering a hotel in the heart of the Ethiopian capital, close to the national palace and international institutions in Addis Ababa, including the UN. Located in the KazanchisThis new hotel, whose project has received Edge environmental certification, will house over 200 rooms and suites, including a presidential suite, as well as around thirty residential flats. All of this will be accompanied by meeting and event space, a swimming pool and several restaurants, including one on the rooftop.
Kenya
JW Marriott Nairobi (May)
JW Marriott is preparing to do a double in Kenya. After opening a luxury safari lodge in the Masai Mara reserve, the American group's premium brand will be setting up in the country's capital later this year. In the Westlands district, close to the business district, the establishment will offer 315 rooms and 51 one- to three-bedroom flats for travellers to Nairobi. for short or long stays. It will also offer a variety of bars and culinary experiences, from a sports bar to a grill and Indian and Asian cuisine, as well as poolside relaxation areas. But the JW Marriott Nairobi also sees itself as a major business hotel, with 10 meeting and event rooms, including the Mara Ballroom, measuring almost 675 m².
Gigiri Gem Forest Hotel Nairobi - MGallery (early 2024)
La luxury and boutique brands from the Accor group will be making its debut in sub-Saharan Africa this year with its first hotel in Nairobi. Nestling in the Karura forest, in the northern suburbs of the Kenyan capital, the hotel is set in a green setting, describing itself as a peaceful and sophisticated haven thanks to the arty approach of the Sundukovy Sisters design studio. However, this hotel with around a hundred rooms also intends to establish itself as a a privileged venue for the diplomatic world because of its proximity to embassies and the UN headquarters in Africa. That's why the hotel has plenty of meeting rooms, as well as cosy restaurants and an outdoor swimming pool.
Morocco
Four Seasons Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr
The "castle by the sea": the Four Seasons Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr is taking over what was once the summer residence of Sultan Moulay Slimane, then a hospital under the French protectorate, to turn this historic site into a new palace in the Moroccan capital. With 200 rooms and suites, most with balconies or terraces overlooking the ocean or the surrounding greenery, five hectares of gardens, two swimming pools and a host of bars and restaurants, this luxury hotel is sure to appeal to business travellers. Especially as the Four Seasons is designed for hosting major events organised with its 2,700 m² meetings and events space, which includes seven meeting rooms and a ballroom for up to 1,000 guests.
The Ritz-Carlton, Rabat Dar Es Salam
Fairmont, Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton: the luxury hotel industry is coming to Rabat. As for Marriott's luxury brand, its new hotel will have a leisure focus with a 117-room resort nestling in an oak forest on the edge of the Royal Golf Dar es Salam and its three courses. Six bars and restaurants, a spa and indoor and outdoor pools, exclusive access to the Royal Riding Club: the resort adds to all this an events dimension with a ballroom capable of hosting gala receptions for 300 people, not to mention a host of possibilities for outdoor events.
Royal Mansour Casablanca (first quarter)
Known for its prestigious establishment in Marrakech, Royal Mansour is no stranger to the Moroccan business capital. The brand was present here until 2015, when it closed for renovation. A renovation that turned into a complete demolition to rebuild on new, higher and more luxurious foundations. The palace is preparing to rising from the ashes with several restaurants, a spa and an indoor swimming pool, as well as a royal suite of more than 1,000 m². The largest in Casablanca.
Park Hyatt Marrakech (open)
The Hyatt Group's luxury brand has made the leap to 2024 by opening a top-of-the-range resort some fifteen kilometres from the centre of Marrakech at the end of December. It is set in a green area overlooking the Atlas Mountains, next to the Al Maaden Golf course. Comprising 16 pavilions with contemporary decor inspired by Arab-Berber architecture, the Park Hyatt Marrakech offers 130 rooms and suites and a host of leisure facilities including gourmet restaurants, a spa and swimming pools. Among all its pavilions, one is dedicated to corporate meetings with seven meeting rooms for up to 80 people and a rooftop terrace for outdoor events.
Seychelles
Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island (January)
A voluptuous break in this long list of business hotels. The Waldorf Astoria luxury brand will soon be setting up shop on a private island 20 minutes' flight from Mahé. An atoll lined with beaches of turquoise water, fringed with palm trees and teeming with exotic birds and protected hawksbill turtles. It is in this paradise-like setting that the resort offers a collection of 50 exclusive villasAll with private pools and no fewer than six restaurants. For those with shallower pockets, the Hilton Group is also looking forward to the opening at the end of March of a Canopy, the first excursion of this contemporary, upmarket brand into the world of resorts. Located in Anse La Mouche, south of Mahé, this 120-room hotel will add meeting and event facilities to its leisure offering.

Saudi Arabia
Sharaan by Jean Nouvel (AlUla)
It may not be the largest business hotel by a long shot, but it is undoubtedly one of the flagship openings of 2024. Designed by the star architect and carved out of the rock of the historic AlUla site, the Sharaan by Jean Nouvel is set to establish itself as one of the world's most prestigious business hotels. one of the great standard-bearers Saudi Arabia's tourism ambitions. A unique and mysterious hotel with just forty rooms and three villas.
Jeddah EDITION
As part of its global expansion EDITION brandco-developed by Marriott and lifestyle hotel pioneer Ian Schrager, expands its footprint in the Middle East. After Abu Dhabi and Dubai, this luxury lifestyle hotel will be opening its doors in Jeddah this year. Situated along the Corniche, next to the marina and the F1 circuit, this new hotel plays the intimate card with 63 rooms, including 11 suites, a restaurant and a bar, all complemented by a rooftop terrace with swimming pool.
Regent Jeddah Corniche (mid-2024)
The new ultra-luxury spirit of Regent Hotels, embodied by the metamorphosis of the Carlton in Cannes as by that of its original hotel in Hong KongThis is the brand's first venture in the Middle East. Also located on the Jeddah waterfront, the hotel will feature 182 elegant rooms with views of the Red Sea, indoor and outdoor pools, three restaurant concepts and a lounge area. It should be noted that this establishment will only be not the only development expected in Jeddah by the IHG Group. The British hotelier is also expecting the voco & Suites Jeddah in September, a 110-key hotel located in Jeddah Central, one of the country's mega-projects aimed at giving the city a new city centre.

Mondrian Abu Dhabi
After recently making its debut in China in 2023, in Hong Kong, and also in France, in Cannes and BordeauxMondrian, the upscale lifestyle brand from Accor and Ennismore, will be opening in the United Arab Emirates later this year. This first hotel, located in Abu Dhabi's business districtThe new hotel, located along the canal, will offer 221 rooms and 80 flats with hotel services. Designed by interior architect Tristan Du Plessis, the hotel will feature a mix of relaxation elements, with six bars and restaurants, a spa and a swimming pool, and more business-oriented elements, with four meeting rooms and a ballroom.
Qatar
Rosewood Doha
Hotel development is not an exact science. Expected to open in time for the 2022 World Cup, the Rosewood Doha is playing for time until this year. But that won't stop it from surprising its guests and visitors to Qatar with its new impressive architecture designed by architect Ibrahim Jaidah and inspired by coral reefs. The 155 rooms and suites and 162 long-stay flats will be housed in two huge towers, in addition to the 276 residences available for rental. The result will be a vertical resort with swimming pools and restaurants galore, as well as a MICE area with eight meeting rooms and a 1,500 m² ballroom.
Andaz Doha (mid 2024)
Andaz, the chic lifestyle brand of the Hyatt Group, will soon be bringing its contemporary spirit to Doha with a hotel perfectly placed for business travellers on Diplomatic Street, in the heart of the West Bay district. This location explains the hotel's large ballroom - which can be split in two - with a capacity of more than 700 people in theatre or cocktail format. There are also four studios for meetings of between 50 and 100 people. However, the hotel's strength lies in its attractive places to live with restaurants serving Singaporean street food and South African cuisine, a jazzy cocktail bar, an outdoor swimming pool and, of course, 256 rooms, complemented by 56 long-stay flats.
Swissôtel Corniche Park Towers, Doha
Located in the West Bay business district, the Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha also has several options, with 223 rooms and suites and 119 long-stay serviced flats, in addition to around a hundred residences. The entry of the Swiss-born Accor brand is materialised by a dedicated hotel. for leisure and business travellers alike with six restaurants, a spa, an outdoor swimming pool and a kids' club, as well as 750 m² of meeting space.
Doha EDITION
In parallel with its opening in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the luxury and lifestyle brand EDITION is also expected to open its doors in Qatar, in Doha's main business district: West Bay. A design hotel with 200 rooms and suites, appropriately adorned with party venues with two restaurants, three bars and a nightclub, complemented by an event space of almost 1,000 m².
Bahrain
Conrad Bahrain Financial Harbour (February)
Manama's Bahrain Financial Harbour business district is set to welcome a luxury Conrad early this year predominantly residential with its 96 suites and two penthouses, all with views over the Persian Gulf. Situated on the seafront overlooking Bahrain Bay and in the heart of the business district, the hotel will feature a restaurant serving fusion cuisine between Asia and South America, a cocktail bar and a swimming pool, as well as meeting facilities.
