Following the success of the Huawei 10 Matethe Chinese brand is back in the mid-range. The company unveiled the 18th January a new smartphone: the Huawei P Smart. Priced at a reasonable €259, this model has an 18:9 screen and a 3,000 mAh battery. The basic memory is a little limited at 32 GB, but the smartphone has a micro SD window that allows memory to be extended up to 256 GB.
The definition of cameras of the P smart is 13MP and 2MP. This capacity does not rival that of the 10 Mate, but remains consistent with its price. The new phone also runs on a mixture ofAndroid Oreo 8.0 and the interface EMUI 8.0 from Huawei. Users will therefore have access to the latest version of the operating system.
As for the aesthetics, the Smart P has been designed in line with the tastes of the time, without falling into banality. The black and gold colours are fairly standard, but the blue stands out from the crowd and adds an extra touch of cachet to the device.
The Huawei P smart therefore represents a solid option for its price. The Chinese brand is reaffirming its place in a segment that it has rapidly conquered. This despite its difficulties in entering the US market. It will be available from 1 February.
