Iberia connects transatlantic flights to Wi-Fi

Since 1 July, business travellers have been able to connect to the Wi-Fi and GSM networks on board transatlantic flights operated by Iberia.

This Tuesday, Iberia joins 1er July joins the still restricted club of airlines connected to Wi-Fi and GSM networks on transatlantic flights. The Spanish airline intends to equip 25 A330 and A340 aircraft by 2015. "There will be no more waiting to update your status on social networks, or wondering what's going on at the office", sums up Ian Dawkins, CEO of supplier OnAir.
