InterCity, the business brand of the German group Deutsche Hospitality, opened its new flagship in early December. Frankfurtwhere the upmarket brand was born 30 years ago. Located on the south side of the main railway station, it is ideally situated for business travellers, especially as the Frankfurt Messe exhibition centre and airport can also be reached in just a few minutes by commuter train.
Featuring a plant-inspired interior design by Italian architect Matteo Thun, as with all the brand's new establishments, the hotel is the largest, with 414 rooms, of the forty establishments offered by IntercityHotels. The hotel has a restaurant, bar and six conference rooms, three of which can be combined to create a space of 190 square metres.
