LATAM Airlines has launched a major investment to welcome business travellers in brand new or completely refurbished lounges.

The business travel showcase for LATAM is getting ready to shine more brightly than ever among business customers. A few days ago, the company announced that it was investing no less than 30 million in its airport lounges in 2025 alone. With the SantiagoLATAM's Chilean hub, the airline's largest lounge on the continent, handles an average of 1,500 passengers a day. LATAM now operates more than 104 daily flights to 14 different countries from the Chilean hub.

This year, LATAM will be inaugurating its brand new lounge at Jorge Chávez airport, at Lima. Investment: 10.5 million dollars. The LATAM lounge will comprise two independent areas: Signature and Premium. With a surface area of 2,450 m², it will be able to accommodate more than 24,000 passengers per month by 2026.

The company has also invested $500,000 in its Bogotain Colombia. From May onwards, business travellers will be welcomed in this completely refurbished 650 m² space, which has a capacity of 136 seats.

The company's new lounge at Sao PauloThe Guarulhos lounge, located in terminal 3 of Guarulhos airport, is expected to open in 2027. At a cost of no less than 18 million dollars, it will be the largest lounge in Latin America, even bigger than the one in Santiago, with a surface area of 4,700 m².
