The Holiday Inn Paris Gare de l'Est reopened in the summer, completely renovated and, above all, rejuvenated with a contemporary design by Axel Schoenert architects.

After more thanone year of workThe Holiday Inn Paris Gare de l'Est has been given a new lease of life with an interior design based on the theme of "Spring Spirit. "The establishment was quite dark before. The work has opened up new spaces, given the building a lot of light. brightness to the whole," explains Benoit Manceaux, the hotel manager. In fact, the hotel is the only four-star hotel near the Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord stations to have been recently renovated.

The new tone is set right from the lobby with contemporary furniture with tangy yellow and green hues. This choice of colour is also found throughout the eight floors. Headboards, furniture, curtains in shades of blue, mauve, yellow or turquoise: "The Holiday Inn brand standards are there, but they have been adapted with a certain freedom to give the rooms a more contemporary feel. a sparkling atmosphere"says interior designer Zsofia Varnagy, who worked on the project with Axel Schoenert.

The hotel, which was built in 1918, now offers 207 rooms - 166 standard rooms, 20 Executive rooms and 21 suites - compared with 200 previously.
