New entrants and established players are pairing up: a few days after Eurosites announced that it would be adopting Bird Office technology, it was MagicStay's turn to be endorsed by two leading names in the events industry. Reed Expositions France and SAFI - the company that organises the Maison&Objet trade fairs - have signed a partnership agreement with the French start-up, which was launched in 2014.
As a result, MagicStay.com will be offering alternative accommodation to visitors and exhibitors at major trade events organised by Reed Expositions France and SAFI. These include the Maison&Objet show - which attracts some 3,000 exhibitors and 75,000 visitors twice a year - and the Pollutec show in Lyon (2,400 exhibitors and 65,000 visitors).
The alternative accommodation on offer will therefore be listed on the websites of the various trade shows concerned, while the MagicStay.com platform will display the event's colours on the dedicated page, and will gather personalised information such as the distance separating the accommodation from the exhibition centre.
"Accommodation is an important part of the total cost of participating in a trade show, especially for exhibitors who have to stay for the duration of the event," says Philippe Brocart, Managing Director of SAFI. "Making savings on accommodation and catering is a real added value that we bring to them".
