
Of course, the Minor group, in particular with its Anantara luxury brand, always focuses on beautiful resorts in enchanting locations. However, among the openings expected in the coming months, several new hotels will be opening their doors to business travellers. New in terms of their décor - like the Anantara Dubai Downtown and the Anantara Siam in Bangkok, both of which will feature renovated surroundings in the first few months of 2026 - but also new in terms of their destination.

Another premium brand from the Minor group, Tivoli Hotels, will be making its debut at OmanThe Tivoli La Vie Muscat Hotel, in the capital Muscat, will be an urban retreat with 79 rooms and 100 residences located in the immediate vicinity of the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre and ten minutes from the airport. For MICE groups, the Tivoli La Vie Muscat Hotel will also feature five meeting and event rooms, including a ballroom. In the second quarter, the Avani+ brand will be offering a 197-room hotel in Vientiane, Laos, with an outdoor swimming pool and four restaurants, as well as a MICE area with a ballroom for 320 participants.


In Europe, while the NH Collection has just made its debut in Paris near the Champs-Élysées, on rue de Ponthieu, the brand has also announced itself in Malta at the end of 2026, in the seaside town of Sliema. In spring, Tivoli Hotels will be offering a 45-room boutique hotel in the heart of Lecce, in Puglia, the Tivoli Palazzo Risorgimento Lecce, with a rooftop overlooking the baroque cathedral.
Further developments are expected to be announced in 2026, not only in Europe, but also in the Middle East, Japan and the Americas. The launch of four new brands in 2025 - The Wolseley Hotels, Minor Reserve Collection, Colbert Collection and iStay Hotels - should also support the growth of a group that aims to exceed 850 hotels worldwide by the end of 2027.
