Artificial intelligence, impressive storage capacity, a powerful processor and a screen occupying 93.8 % of the front surface of the handset (currently the highest ratio on the market)... With the premium Find X model, Chinese manufacturer Oppo has made a remarkable entry into the French market for very high-end handsets, clearly demonstrating its desire to compete with Apple, Samsung and its Chinese rivals, Huawei and Xiaomi. Photography is no slouch either, with a front-facing sensor and a dual module at the rear, all concealed in an original way under a motorised sliding system. Artificial intelligence is used to automatically correct shots and create 3D portraits, which is all the more important in terms of security. In place of the fingerprint sensor typical of this type of top-of-the-range handset, the Chinese manufacturer has opted for a 3D facial recognition system, like the iPhone X. It remains to be seen how robust the sliding system will be in the long term, since if it malfunctions it will prevent the user from being recognised and thus prevent the handset from opening. The Chinese manufacturer has not skimped on aesthetics either. No buttons or keys are visible, with the 6.42-inch XXL Amoled screen covering almost the entire surface of the handset, while the rear is covered by a sheet of iridescent burgundy or blue glass. There's also a mode that lets you fully recharge your phone in 35 minutes. This beast of a smartphone is also available in a special Lamborghini version at an even more premium price...
