You 10e sky towards the fifth star. Of course, the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel will always be crowned by its rooftop on the 10the The floor offers an unparalleled view of the Iron Lady to businesses meeting in its 280 m² Trocadéro lounge or its four other rooms. Meanwhile, during holiday periods, passing tourists will always find it a prime spot for a drink, chatting with the most famous of Parisian monuments.

However, often everything must change for nothing to change. And the hotel, popular with a large number of tourists from all over the world as well as with MICE or individual business clients, has embarked on a strategic repositioning that will lead it to new horizons. More chic and more contemporary, more relaxed perhaps, but also more "Parisian".

Driven by an investment amounting to " several million euros financed by the new owner Batipart Benoît Stoltz, the hotel's General Manager, explained that this evolution had already begun 18 months ago with technical aspects such as the facade, lifts, the installation of heat pumps, and staff training, in anticipation of the hotel's upmarket repositioning. It will now continue, until the middle of next year, with more tangible elements for travellers.

To begin with, from the start of June, the Signature Suite will embody this new spirit by drawing inspiration from the style of the capital’s finest apartments, featuring wooden flooring, fine materials and, to complete the setting, a direct view of the Eiffel Tower from its two balconies. Spanning 150 m², this showcase of the hotel’s transformation welcomes travellers seeking privacy and space. But the Signature Suite, with its lounge and dining room, is also designed for business meetings as well as exclusive dinners or cocktail parties. In line with this elevated positioning, the Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel’s suite offering will increase from 61 to 81, with some already available.

Whether by chance or not, the hotel, built in the 60s to designs by Pierre Dufau to follow the modernist architectural trend of Hilton, which was in full development in Europe, is beginning to write a new chapter in its history just as other historic Hiltons, those in Athens and Istanbul, have recently begun new chapters.

Having joined the Accor group and its Pullman brand in 2009, the hotel had already undergone a major renovation in 2013, overseen by Christophe Pillet alongside Matthieu Lehanneur for the creative Business Playground workspace. Today, this new era aims to " position the hotel at the level of the Eiffel Tower's energy , according to Benoît Stoltz, in order to " to compete with the right-bank establishments by offering a great option for international travellers on the left bank ".

Grande Dame of MICE

Popular with tourists from all over the world due to its close proximity to the Eiffel Tower – the leisure segment accounts for 80% of its clientele – this Pullman is nonetheless a major business hotel, catering both to the surrounding embassies, which hold formal meetings there, and to the many companies that have at their disposal a 2,200 m² venue divided into 24 event spaces. And which, in the eyes of organisers, has the advantage of being recognised by Green Globe certification since 2023 and, more recently, by the Tourism and Disability.

The centrepiece of this MICE offering, the ballroom can accommodate 350 to 400 people and has had its technology updated with a giant LED screen and all the necessary sound equipment. Located in the basement, it nevertheless benefits from natural daylight thanks to a courtyard which also allows for outdoor cocktail receptions and entertainment.

To go further, in a spirit of flexibility, The future works will offer re-imagined spaces, knocking down walls and enlarging living rooms. , specifies Benoit Stoltz, highlighting that the optimal capacity of his hotel is located between 200 and 250 people, with the possibility of partial or total privatisation of spaces such as the ballroom or Le 10.e Floor ".

However, while this work will focus on the practical, the hardware, it will also touch on the "soft" side. The hotel wishes, for example, to differentiate itself by offering a personalised service, a proper coffee bar with a barista rather than a simple self-service machine. This approach aims to create a differentiating experience that will foster loyalty among business customers and undoubtedly encourage them to return for leisure stays. « explains the establishment's general manager.

To offer a " a definitively Parisian experience » : this is the ambition of the new design conceived by the London-based firm GA, which will be gradually visible in the 435 rooms that will be reinvented by spring 2027, without the hotel closing. Workspaces with USB and electrical sockets, marble with green veins in the vast bathrooms: some prototype rooms already exist as a test. With a surface area of 26 m², most with balconies, they open onto a cream-white decor, warmer, where the old design related to the hotel lobby's mineral feel. « Inspired by the 50s-60s style, more metallic, these rooms also had a more business-like approach, with a different layout », notes Benoit Stoltz.

Succumbing to the demands of bleisure, the lobby will adapt to this evolution with an atmosphere that is also warmer, more vegetal and woody. With, also, a rethought reception with desks dedicated to different types of clientele to streamline check-in and, as a point of convergence, a proper bar. As for the restaurant – a contemporary brasserie – it will still be run by Alexandre Willaume and will offer ultra-seasonal cuisine with a vegetal accent, the chef being a vegetarian by the way, with a wood-fired oven soon to add a touch of authenticity.
