Qatar Airways, from Nice to Auckland via Lyon and Toulouse

Qatar Airways returned to Nice on 9 May. As well as Auckland in New Zealand, where the airline will be relaunching its flight from Doha on 1 September. This route is considered to be one of the longest in the world.

Qatar Airways has resumed direct flights between Nice and its hubDoha Hamad International Airport. May 9 marked the airline's return to the Côte d'Azur airport after a three-year hiatus. Qatar Airways now offers four weekly flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays by Boeing 787-8. The aircraft has a capacity of 254 seats, divided between 22 in business class and 232 in economy class.

Nice then Lyon and Toulouse

Flights depart Nice Côte d'Azur at 16:00 and arrive in Doha at 22:45 (local time) on the outbound leg. On the return flight, the aircraft leaves Doha at 8.30am and lands in Nice at 1.20pm. For Eric Odone, Vice President Sales Europe, " Qatar Airways is delighted to strengthen its commitment to France and resume its historic route between Doha and Nice."

Nice begins to strengthen Qatar Airways in France. On 3 July, the company will be inaugurating its new Lyon-Doha with frequencies on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Departure from Lyon is at 4.35pm, with a return flight from Doha at 8.25am.

In addition, on 18 July the company will launch its Toulouse-Doha with three flights a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The aircraft will take off for Doha at 4.10pm, with the return flight leaving the Qatari capital at 8.45am.

And finally.., Qatar Airways has announced the resumption of one of the longest routes on its network, Doha-Auckland (New Zealand).. The flight will start on 1 September and will operate daily. The airline has selected a Airbus A350-1000 to operate the route. The aircraft will offer 46 seats in QSuite Business Class and 281 seats in Economy Class.
