There's no need to make too many announcements to nurture great ambitions: that's the lesson we can learn from the unbridled growth of a player like RealTime Travel Solution. Launched in Asia in 2004arrived in France in 2013the hotel reservation giant is now boasting triple-digit growth in the French market (+110 % in 2015), despite a relatively low profile in the market.
Previously specialising in leisure hotels through travel agencies, RTS is now focusing on its fare offers, supported by tools such as the Reverse Bidding which puts suppliers in competition with each other by focusing on the lowest price. With success, apparently, since the French entity posted sales of 30 million euros in 2015, and aims to exceed 50 million next year.
To achieve this, RealTime Travel Solution will be able to count on a new asset: a Business section to be launched by Octoberto attract the attention of French companies. The launch of this corporate tool will be the Group's first foray into the business travel market, incorporating the constraints inherent in this segment: an offer available on the main SBTs (KDS, CONCUR, AeTM, Traveldoo), integration of the customer's hotel programme, synchronisation with the PNR, visibility on the Agent reservation system, identical leisure and business remuneration, and unchanged billing. According to its Chairman Piere-Stéphane Austi, this new positioning should enable the booking centre to achieve a balance between leisure and business travellers.
In addition to this diversification of the business, RTS continues to expand internationally by looking to new markets, including Mexico, the UK, Germany, Ireland and Turkey.
