SNCF improves its Transilien app

The SNCF is announcing an improved version of its Transilien application, giving passengers more practical information to make their journeys easier.

In particular, the new-generation Transilien application makes it possible to anticipate the next departure, by indicating whether the train is short or long, so you know where to stand on the platform. Other functions include real-time timetable consultation, traffic alerts and advance information on any disruptions announced. The Transilien tool, launched in September by the SNCF, is available free of charge on the Android Market and Apple Store. It has already been downloaded more than 350,000 times.
