Marseille and the surroundings of Parc Chanot are decidedly in the sights of the Assas group to expand its network. Less than a year after the inauguration of RockyPop, in July 2025, it is the turn of Soléo Prado to open its doors. And once again, the French hotelier has chosen to convert a residence Citadines A hybrid hotel, which partially retains an aparthotel offering with 18 apartments. In total, the Soléo Prado has 98 keys, with a three-star positioning that complements the group's other Marseilles address.

The establishment will therefore benefit from its proximity to the convention and exhibition centre, but also to the Stade Vélodrome, also within walking distance, and to the neighbouring Saint-Joseph hospital. The MICE offering intrinsic to the hotel cannot yet rely on meeting infrastructure. However, management is working on a partnership with the neighbouring building to address this shortfall. Furthermore, several spaces can be privatised, such as this lovely terrace with 55 seats, which is very well protected from the noise and bustle of Marseille.

Conceived as an "urban refuge", the Soléo Prado also boasts a fitness room and private parking. The hotel's decoration was entrusted to Marie-Paule Clout. In agreement with management, who are very involved in writing this new chapter, the interior designer was keen to pay homage to the city of Marseille and its districts: Le Panier in the breakfast room, the Calanques in the lobby, and the Vallon des Auffes in an intimate room. The colour scheme and chosen materials tastefully and gently evoke the "Phocaean city": terracotta, both raw and enamelled, linen, raffia, light wood, and shades of pastis yellow and azure blue... While awaiting the obtaining of the label Green Key, already highlighted as one of the management's priorities.
A step aside in Cannes

The Group Assassins is heading towards an ambitious summer, under the sun exactly. Ahead of this Marseilles inauguration, the Lepoussin hotel opened its doors in May, marking the group's arrival at CannesThe four-star establishment has 72 rooms, and its decor was also entrusted to Marie-Paule Clout. The wellness area – which aims to be a "secret garden" – features a fitness room and a swimming pool with sun loungers. All of this is about a ten-minute walk from the Palais des Festivals.
