Following its new First Signature in 2025, TGV Lyria has just implemented a loyalty program based on the annual spending of a business traveller or a company with the Franco-Swiss rail operator, a subsidiary of SNCF. The system is thus based on 4 different tiers according to total expenditure, with theoretically increasing benefits for each level.

After a quick online registration, professional clients become members of the TGV Lyria Business programme, which grants them little extras such as receiving the TGV Lyria Business newsletter, discounts at Geneva's Bloody Bar

The company will also be able to monitor its energy consumption and carbon footprint for the whole year on this France–Switzerland route. Triggered by spending 5,000 euros on Lyria tickets, the first tier of the loyalty programme, known as Silver, is also the tier at which business customers begin to enjoy fare benefits. These customers can enjoy a 20% discount on the flexible daily fare in Standard Class and a free hot drink at the TGV Lyria bar during their journey. In Switzerland, travellers with vehicles benefit from a 50% discount on P+Rail parking at stations across the network. Finally, both the company and the traveller will receive exclusive travel offers throughout the year from the rail operator.

First Class discounts from Gold tier

The Gold tier, meanwhile, starts at an annual ticket spend of 30,000 euros for a company, offering in return a 10% discount on Première Signature journeys and personalised support from a TGV Lyria adviser. Finally, the benefits of Platinum status are activated from €80,000, offering a personalised discount on Première Signature class tickets, access to exclusive offers (the same as at Silver level?) and invitations to Lyria events.

As a reminder, travel in Première Signature starts at €179 from Paris to Lausanne/Geneva/Basel and from €204 on Paris-Zurich. For this price, business customers have a dedicated space in 1st class in carriage 1 or 11 with assistance from the onboard staff, unlimited drinks and an at-seat catering service, in addition to Wi-Fi to work or be entertained during the journey… Not to mention the monthly distribution of a welcome kit with a manicure set, spray, hand cream and a product from the Swiss beauty brand La Colline.

In order to constantly improve the travel experience for its passengers, particularly in First Class Signature, TGV Lyria concluded an agreement a few months ago with EHL Hospitality Business School, formerly the Lausanne Hotel School founded in 1893, which specialises in service excellence.
