As a reminder, Germany has tightened its controls around its land borders with France, Denmark and Poland. The whole of France was classified as a "high-risk" zone last Friday, including its overseas territories, which means that travellers arriving from France other than border workers must be able to show the authorities a negative test that is less than forty-eight hours old, and a quarantine period is also required on arrival in the country. According to the German press, Germany also imposes a compulsory negative test for air passengers, particularly from the EU.
