
Originating in Australia, the wave Tribe was quick to hit the European market. Starting with Pariswhere Accor inaugurated its first European representative in October 2020. The lifestyle chain is now heading east, and will be making its debut in Hungary at 2023. The French hotelier has opted for a strategic location on Rue Kertész, a popular street for tourists visiting Budapest.
The architects Puhl and Dajka will be at the helm of this project, which will begin construction at the end of the year. It includes more than 250 roomsand a coworking space for both local and international business customers. The building will also be dominated by a bar with a breathtaking view of the Hungarian capital.
Future Tribe openings include Amsterdam, Warsaw and Phnom Penh. The Accor group plans to have no fewer than 150 Tribe destinations by 2030.
