India is continuing to simplify measures for foreign travellers entering the country. To enter the country, the Indian government used to require the completion of a self-declaration form. All international passengers had to register on the Air Suvidha portal.. Passengers were asked to declare their vaccination status, including the number of doses received and their dates.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation said that "in view of the continued decline in the trajectory of Covid-19 and the significant progress made in Covid-19 vaccination coverage both globally and in India, the Ministry of Health has issued revised guidelines for international arrivals".

The revised directive from the Ministry of Health confirms that as of 22 November, self-declaration on the Air Suvidha online portal has been abolished. However, this regulation could be reintroduced depending on developments at Covid.

However, the Ministry said it was preferable for passengers to be fully vaccinated when travelling to India. Last week, the Ministry of Aviation also announced that it was no longer compulsory to wear a mask on flights.. However, we recommend that you continue to use it as a precaution.
